Fourladshadadream blog and podcast

When I started Fourladshadadream it was an attempt to become something we could all enjoy. A bit of positivity around our club at a time where we had very little. I would like to think that we have had some fun doing that and although not always spot on with stuff, certainly helped shine a light as the club has manoeuvred itself into a better place.

But this has always been a hobby for me and it’s not something I want to be anymore than that. I simply don’t want to hang around too long that people don’t enjoy it anymore or it becomes something that is past it’s sell by date.

Over the last few weeks and months I have considered stopping because this is a huge commitment and social media isn’t as fun as it used to be, I have spoken to many people about that.

The way people have enjoyed and responded to the blog has been incredible however, to have over 1.3 million people read my blogs and help raise over £13k has been such an unbelievable feeling.

With that said I have decided that this season will be my last and at the end of the season this blog will stop for good.

Ultimately I believe that it is the right thing to do.

When the season passes I believe financially this club will be in a good position and with a good ownership, I believe we will be back to a place where I can just enjoy it again. I have faith in this board to do that.

By telling you all this I also hope it brings closure and people understand a wee bit more why I stepped away from fan media. I have two young sons I feel I have to enjoy growing up and bring them up in the tradition of supporting our football team. I hope we can all enjoy the blog in a more traditional way as to when I first started it.

I hope people will enjoy the content from me going forward, I will continue to blog and I will continue to be positive about our football team.

We have one more season to go

I love this club, I love all the support you have given this blog

Let’s get behind the team in a massive season and help them get back to where we belong

Ignore the nonsense, the irrelevant and the noise
