I hope everyone enjoyed the festivities as much as possible in these difficult times. It’s been a tough year for everyone with a lot of personal sacrifice and anguish for many, it’s been a relief that Rangers have managed to put a smile on the faces of us all.
Rangers are in relentless form, twelve straight premiership wins with only five goals conceded in twenty games, this side is as strong as any I remember in my time watching us.
But there are still so many questions to answer.
Everyone of us will be acutely aware of what happened after New Year on both our previous seasons under this management, that’s why there is nobody shouting about anything at this minute.
But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t offer praise to this team or even allow ourselves a fleeting thought of what the month of May might bring, but there isn’t anyone amongst us who are shouting from the rooftops.

The next two games will have a huge bearing on how our season will progress. Maximum points and we have given ourselves a real opportunity. But even then everyone of us are acutely aware of the toughest calendar month will then be upon us. If we can get to the end of January unscathed then we will all be confident but there is a long way to go before then.
We have been told this team would slip up at many points, we have been told this team are simply well organised and reliant on a system that when stopped would see us stopped.
Well in the last few games teams have tried to stop our full backs and the goals have simply come from elsewhere. What people fail to highlight is that Rangers have many different assets now in our armoury.
We have two full backs who are definite threats.
We have centre backs and set plays which are definite threats.
We have technically gifted players in Kamara, Aribo, Davis, Hagi, Kent who can unlock defences.
We have an interchangeable front three including the new dynamics of Kemar Roofe.
This is before we even throw in Alfredo Morelos, Cedric Itten and Jermain Defoe in our number nine position.

Rangers aren’t as easy to play against anymore, just ask Motherwell who stuck eleven in their own box and still couldn’t keep us out. That’s why I remain confident this team are different to previous seasons where we were less dynamic than we are now. If players aren’t firing then the management can bring in a Hagi or Arfield whilst others find their form. The strength in depth is very strong.
Against Hibs, Rangers defended a lot of crosses and not once did they give away a single header. Rangers are proving points and answering questions every match day.
Fake News? Rangers are under pressure? The pressure is all on us?
There is pressure everyday at Rangers, it’s nothing new. There is nothing fake about the league table and nothing fake about our form.
Head down, foot down and we keep going.
Finally, this Sunday Morning the narrative is in overdrive that Hibs were cheated yesterday so I will leave this small point. At Easter Road Rangers conceded a blatantly offside goal, a BBC journalist told us we should have done more to clear it.
The standard of punditry is absolutely woeful, even today we have Hugh Keevins telling us Celtic’s third choice goalkeeper has more medals than this current Rangers team

It is this standard of appalling coverage that has every Rangers fan tired of the narrative that is set against us. Our number one has ten times the medals alone but that’s a small point, the agenda and narrative is clear. See this lot still think they are playing Rangers of four years ago, when average players were made out of big wins against our team which were way below standards.
I’d love nothing more than for this team to rub all their faces in it.
It is of no surprise that people are swarming to fan media and ignoring the gutter rags that no longer even get access to our ground. There is a reason for that.
