Mixed News on Rangers injury front as Jack misses season

Injury update –

Ryan Jacks operation this week went well however the damage described as ‘much worse’ than expected. Ryans season is unfortunately over and he is now in a race to be fit for pre season. A major blow to Rangers and manager Graeme Murty. Ryan is said to be devastated and fingers crossed he can beat his expected recovery time.

In better news Kenny Miller (awaits the reaction) and Jordan Rossiter are in full training with the latter in Spain to play with the 20s as Murty confirmed today. Ross McCrorie continues to rest and is aiming to be back in 4 weeks, as we confirmed weeks ago there is no break in his ankle and rest is the key.

Lee Wallace is running outside and he remains on course to a similar return time as Ross McCrorie.

Bruno Alves remains a similar timeline to both players above.

But perhaps the best news and most surprising is the recovery of Graham Dorrans, we told you the midfielder wasn’t expected back until May but he is making ‘significant progress’ and could be back in between 6-8 weeks. A remarkable recovery after his season had been written off, let’s hope Ryan Jack can do similar.

Thanks as ever to Derek for the information.
