Rangers play Dundee this evening in the Premier Sports League cup with a place at Hampden in the semi finals up for grabs. Rangers picked up 3pts at Motherwell on Sunday to continue a good domestic run of form, even if the performance wasn’t vintage.
Giovanni Van Bronckhorst has come under some criticism but domestically he is yet to lose a fixture outside of the Old Firm and boasts a 86% win rate so there is plenty of defence for the managers tenure. Others have questioned his style of play and how we perform during games, with the level of performance being scrutinised heavily.
I have openly said I have lost faith after heavy defeats this season and the manner of those results, but even I can say criticism isn’t all fair. That aside, if the team continue their domestic form then any noise will be dispelled. A huge injury list to key players hasn’t helped and should be taken into consideration also.
