15 mins – SHOT! Dessers controls then swivels and belts a volley towards goal, well saved by MacDonald.
18 mins – SAVE! Jack Butland springs to his right to save well from a Muirhead free kick, Mortons first effort.
22 mins – Rangers have the ball in the net as Dessers breaks but he has pulled jersey according to official and it’s chopped off.
26 mins – OFF THE LINE! Matondo does well and from a tight angle his shot is cleared off the line after he rounds MacDonald.
45 mins – SHOT! Dowell free kick tipped wide, the resulting corner headed over by Goldson.

Poor performance from Rangers at times and lacked a tempo which never really got any sustained pressure.
Huge questions around what Beale is trying to implement, it’s going to take time but why this team needs a set back or a rocket from the manager to fix itself is hugely concerning.
We have won and we are through but this needs to be a whole lot better. We never seem to have any sustained pressure or tempo in what we are doing. The performances thus far have been patchy at best and a big uplift is required.
Yes changes were made, but some of them have done theirselves no favours.
For us I’m concerned about what I continue to see.

Four Lads Had A Dream 
I feel the same way ok they were a few players missing but still that display was not rangers the three up front is not doing it for me we need wingers stretch there defence instead of playing through the middle and I don’t me just in this match

A win is win. But against better opposition it might have not been a win. Taking time to gel is one thing but in reality our reserves would be expected to beat morton. Two very soft penalties in my opinion, Danilo’s goal was well taken. Too many of our new signings just don’t quite get it yet. Glad to see Hagi get a run out, i hope he gets more time as the season progresses. Still waiting to see something that will frighten septic though. C’mon the rangers.
