Rangers scrape past United – GVB/Čolak reaction

Rangers entertain Dundee United at Ibrox in a game where Utd will play like their lives depend on it. Going through a dreadful run theirselves, including a change in management, they will come to Ibrox with renewed hope having seen Rangers recent form.

United have shipped seven and nine in recent games but won’t be that open today, Rangers have struggled against today’s opponents in recent times.

Rangers of course haven’t scored since August and shipped eleven in three games and as even more questions get asked, Van Bronckhorst’s side will have to step up and answer them.

A horribly turgid performance that lacked invention and pace. Rangers got consistently bogged down in their own passes, over played and quite often tried to walk the ball in. Squad clearly low on confidence but this isn’t a team playing well or thriving as a unit.

Something has to give and change for the team to get out of this trend of performances. Three points a God send but so much more issues arising after today’s performance.
